Oxfordshire Coach Development Meeting - Postponed

As many of you know we currently have a Coach Development Meeting scheduled for Monday 26th October 2009 venue TBC - 6.30pm – 9.30pm
The plan was to combine this meeting with a workshop / coach development opportunity, with the first hour focusing on the coach development meeting and the following two hours would be the workshop.

Unfortunately due to the lack of workshop speaker availability and unforeseen circumstances I will need to postpone this meeting to a later date. New date to be circulated as soon as possible.
As we approach a very busy time for coach development opportunities I feel that it will be in the best interest of coaches to delay this meeting until a quieter time (if this does exist). In the mean time please find below a few short updates.

Updates
• There are several Coach Development Events running towards the end of the year including the England Athletics Coaching Conference (South Conference takes place on 5th December) and the Master Class Series. Please see the England Athletics website for further details www.englandathletics.org
• England Athletics have appointed a new Club and Coach Support Officer (my replacement) and she will commence her role at the beginning of December. Further information to follow soon.
• The National Coach Development Programme was officially launched on Saturday 10th October 2009. 124 coaches were initially selected by the National Coach Mentors to become part of the National Coach Development Programme. All those coaches who have not been selected at this stage for the National Coach Development Programme are invited to become part of the Local Coach Development Programme. England Athletics have requested that if you would like to participate in the Local Coach Development Programme that you complete the attached form and return in to me ASAP.
